Assault is assault right?

WRONG! In Victoria we have a variety of types of assault and they fall in to two different categories. Statutory and common law, statutory assault is assault that's defined by statute and common law assault is assault that is defined by a court.

What does this mean? Watch me explain it to you heeeeere:

This is in reply to a question about the difference between common law assault and satutory assault. If you have a question yourself, make it known. No, I will not help you with your homework, but I'll show you how to do it ;-)
