The Department of Justice wants to hear from you about what information and support you needed in the Magistrates' Court for a survey of victims of crime.

You can take their survey if you are:

  • aged 18 years or over
  • a resident of Victoria,

and you either:

  • were a victim or witness of a personal crime (for example assault, threatened assault, stalking, robbery, and sex offences)
  • were a victim or witness who has attended the Magistrates' Court of Victoria during 2012, 2013 or 2014
  • attended the Magistrates' Court for an Intervention Order or Safety Notice.

Your answers will help the Department of Justice and the Magistrates’ Court to understand more about the needs of people who attend court, and will help them to develop services and programs.
